- Search Tips
- Nation - Curerntly this value is fixed to German equipment only. Future work will include vehicles from all nations.
- Category - (required) Hover the mouse over category to choose from a list of equipment types. The categories are typically organized around a vehicle chassis or type of equipment (PzKpfW III, artillery, wheel vehicles, etc).
- Model - (optional) Once a category has been selected hover the mouse over the model to fine tune your search.
- Unit - (optional) Type the name of the unit that you are searching for. Matches occur with vehicles whose unit are exactly as you type or vehicles with a portion of their unit appearing exactly as you type. It is recommended that you keep this field as simple as possible: searching based on "Schwere Panzer Abteilung 506" is less likely to find expected results compared to a search based on "506".
- Tactical ID - (optional) Type the tactial id that interests you. Matches will occur on exactly what you type as well as IDs that partially match what you type. For instance, a search for "415" will return all "415"s but will also return all equipment with partial tactical numbers that match 415 in some way; "41?" and "?15" for instance.
- * There are up to three types of matches that can occur when searching, these based on which search fields are provided: Positive, Strong, and Weak. Each match type is preceeded with one of these names and the name can be clicked on for a description of the match type.
